Crowdsourcing the perfect crowdfunding
This blog is dedicated to "crowdsourcing the perfect crowdfunding". We invite you to describe what is precious to you, what is unique to you.
Please do not hezitate to use the comment zone below
Let's improve the process of crowdfunding
We are working on the process of crowdfunding for niche market films. The criteria are two or more of the followings :
- author movie
- high quality of the artistic projet
- low budget
- cultural referents
- unusual languages
- independant films (not supported by "official bodies" in charge of promoting movies)
- small audience (less than 500 000)
- etc.
Our first goal is to discribe a process to identify the concerned communities and the various ways to reach same creating an allaiance with their community manager.
I think crowd funding is a great way to access these niche markets and makes possible an artisic project that would be much tougher to complete or could not exist otherwise (due to the size of the market).
Do not hesitate to contribute through the "commentaires zone" of this blog.
7 Things to Consider before you Launch your Project
"I get A LOT of requests to help with kickstarter campaigns. Through trial and error on over a dozen kickstarter projects, hours of lectures at Emerson College, and countless meet ups, phone calls and emails with artists and innovators, I’ve refined a “best practices” list that I share when I decide to get involved with a project. I’ve been fortunate to run my own successful campaigns, but also have helped out on over a dozen innovative artistic endeavors all of which have been successful in some way. What you’ll read here, and hopefully in the future, is what I’ve found to work (to the tune of almost $350k and counting). But at the end of the day, two things are really all that’s required: a good idea and A LOT OF HARD WORK. Ok, maybe three – a decent network that supports what you do." Read more
9 crowdfunding websites to help you change the world
"For many people, the thought of taking significant financial risk holds them back from jumping head-long into launching the idea that has been stuck in the recesses of their head. This little collection of crowdfunding websites and web applications are designed to take the risk out of that creativity and innovation, allowing even the little guy to do something amazing.
Who needs venture capital funding to get their idea off the ground? If you’ve been holding back because of it, you might just find there’s help out there, fueled by the community, and managed by some of these fantastic sites, which can help you fund your idea, business startup or music project."
